Giggling Girls

Giggling girls, laughing over some hidden joke they only know
Eyeing up some boy they like, wondering if he’d like to go
Out with them sometime, so they try their best to get his attention
He returns their glances knowingly, smiling at the mention
Of his name; it’s all a game that’s quite amusing to observe
But exhausting to play even if you get the purpose that it serves
